Exness Trading Guide 2026: Accounts, Costs and Platforms
This page explains how forex trading with Exness works: account types, what you pay, how funding works, which platforms exist, and what can go wrong. It does not tell you whether trading suits you. It does not predict results. It does not give you a strategy.

Account types and trading conditions
These are the live account types published by Exness, with the conditions listed on the official account pages on 25 July 2026.
| Account | Spread from¹ | Commission | Order execution | Margin call | Stop out | Swap-free |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 0.2 pips | No commission | Market | 60% | 0% | Available |
| Pro | 0.1 pips | No commission | Instant (forex, metals, energies, stocks, indices); market (cryptocurrencies) | 30% | 0% | Available |
| Zero | 0 pips on the top 30 instruments¹ | From $0.05 each side per lot | Market | 30% | 0% | Available |
| Raw Spread | 0 pips | Up to $3.50 each side per lot | Market | 30% | 0% | Available |
Minimum lot size on all four account types is 0.01. Hedged margin is 0%.
Minimum deposit applicable; may vary based on payment method or geographic location. Exness does not publish one fixed minimum deposit figure on its account pages. Check the amount that applies to you inside your Exness Personal Area before you plan a deposit.
¹ Spreads for the top 30 instruments may rise above 0 during high volatility. Spreads may fluctuate and widen due to factors including market volatility, news events, market open/close, and others.
How to read this table
Cost sits in two places: the spread and the commission. Standard and Pro hold the whole cost inside the spread. Zero and Raw Spread split it, so you pay a tighter spread plus a per-lot commission each side.
Neither structure is automatically cheaper. The cheaper one depends on your instrument, your trade size and how often you trade. Use the Exness trading calculator to compare, and check the live spread on the instrument you actually trade, not on a headline pair.
Swap-free is listed as available on these account types. Swap-free means the overnight financing fee is not charged. Terms and eligible instruments are set by Exness. Confirm the current terms in your Personal Area.
Conditions differ by account type. The figures that apply to your account are shown in the Exness Personal Area. [ Compare account types ] [ Try a free demo ]
What Exness lists as its main advantages
Each item below is a feature Exness promotes. The required disclaimer follows each one. We have added the data Exness itself publishes, so you can judge the claim instead of trusting it.
Instant withdrawals
The majority of withdrawals are processed automatically, providing quick, 24/7 access to funds. Exness states that over 98% of withdrawals are processed automatically. "Instant" means the request is approved automatically, without a payment specialist handling it. It does not mean the money reaches your account instantly.
- Processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method.
Market-leading spreads and spread stability
Exness publishes the basis for this claim: lowest maximum spreads and tightest average USOIL spreads on the Exness Pro account, using data collected from 22 to 28 February 2026, compared with commission-free accounts at other brokers. That is a one-week sample on one instrument. Treat it as such.
- Spreads may fluctuate and widen due to factors including market volatility, news events, market open/close, and others.
Superior execution
Exness bases its execution claim on average slippage rates on pending orders, using data collected between September 2024 and July 2025, for XAUUSD, USOIL and BTC CFDs on Exness Standard accounts, compared with similar accounts at four other brokers. That data period ended more than a year ago.
- Delays and slippage may occur. No guarantee of execution speed or precision.
Low stop out level
The stop out level is 0% on the four account types listed above. Exness also lists a Stop Out Protection feature in the Exness Trade app.
A low stop out level gives your position more room before it is closed automatically. It does not protect your money. When a stop out happens, positions are closed and the loss is real.
Negative Balance Protection
Clients never lose more than they've deposited. The exact terms are set in Exness' legal documents. Read them before you rely on this feature.

Opening an account
Step 1 — Register
Create an Exness Personal Area with your email and a password. Registration happens on the official Exness website only.
Step 2 — Verify your identity
Exness requires identity verification before you can use full deposit, withdrawal and trading functions. Standard requirements are proof of identity and proof of address. The exact documents accepted are shown inside your Personal Area.
Exness also applies account security codes. You choose one security type — phone, email, or TOTP where available — and each account action needs a six-digit confirmation code.
Step 3 — Fund the account, or open a demo
You can fund a live account, or open a demo account first. A demo account gives a Standard MT5 account with a $10,000 virtual balance.
Demo trading uses virtual money. No real money is at risk. This also means demo results tell you very little about live results, because your behaviour under real loss is different.
Registration and verification happen on the official Exness website. You can open a demo account first and register later. [ Register with Exness ] [ Try a free demo ]
Deposits and withdrawals
Payment methods
Neteller, Skrill and bank cards.
How processing works
Deposits and withdrawals can be made 24/7. If a transaction is not processed automatically, Exness states it will process the request within 24 hours. Your bank or payment provider may then take longer. Exness does not accept liability for delays caused by payment systems.
- Processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method.
Rules that catch people out
Funds can be withdrawn to your own personal accounts only. Exness does not accept payments to or from third parties.
If the payment method you deposited with is not available for withdrawal, you must contact Exness support for an alternative. Some payment systems are occasionally switched off for maintenance.
You cannot withdraw from a demo account.
Deposit fees may be applied to specific payment methods.
Fund security
Exness states that client funds are kept in segregated accounts at multiple tier-1 banks, that it is PCI DSS certified, and that it provides 3D Secure for major cards. Withdrawal transactions are protected by one-time password verification.

One limit worth knowing before you choose
In-app trading in the Exness Trade app works with MT5 accounts only. If you hold an MT4 account, you cannot trade it in the Exness Trade app; you are redirected to the MT4 mobile app.
You choose the account type and the platform when you create the trading account. Plan this before you open the account, not after.
What the Exness Trade app includes
Advanced charting with popular indicators, price alerts, an in-app trading calculator, trading notifications, a detailed order history, favourites and top movers, an economic calendar, in-app account management, and deposits and withdrawals. Support is available 24/7 through in-app live chat in multiple languages.

Costs, leverage and risk control
Costs
Your real cost per trade is the spread, plus commission if your account type charges it, plus swap if you hold a position overnight and the account is not swap-free. Check all three in the Exness trading calculator before you size a position.
Leverage
Leverage increases both profit and loss on the same position. Maximum leverage at Exness depends on the account, the instrument and conditions set by Exness. Check the leverage that actually applies to your account in your Personal Area.
Higher leverage means a smaller price move can trigger a margin call or a stop out. Margin call and stop out levels for each account type are in the table above.
Basic risk control
- Decide the maximum you can lose on one trade before you open it.
- Use stop losses.
- Keep free margin. A stop out closes positions for you, at the market price at that moment.
- Understand that volatility around news can widen spreads and cause slippage.
Excess volatility increases risk further. Be cautious.
